Discover My Coffee

Editorial standards

Useful, accurate, and clearly sourced listings.

The aim is to create a discovery engine rather than a copied catalogue. Crawler output should be cleaned, structured, and reviewed before publication.

Do not publish raw scrape noise

Descriptions should not contain cart text, quantity selectors, checkout fragments, layout text, or broken HTML. The crawler and admin review process should keep public pages clean.

Attribute and link to sources

Coffee offerings should point users back to the roaster website. Public pages should make it clear when a listing is based on the roaster or cafe website.

Separate country from origin

Country should represent the coffee-producing country. Origin should represent a region, farm, estate, cooperative, washing station, or lot name when known.

Review commercial placements

Featured and Spotlight content should be approved, active, and clearly separated from normal editorial/discovery content.
